The MSc in Electronic Physics (Radioelectrology) started as a one-year postgraduate program in 1965. It is worth noting that it is the first postgraduate course program founded in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
In 1970, it became a two-year program, and in 1993, due to a reform, the program was split in two specialization paths: Telecommunications and Electronics.
Starting from September 2018 the postgraduate program is going to operate under the lastly reformed program of studies which has been approved by the General Assembly of the Physics Department and the Senate of Aristotle University, based on the present and future demands of research and labor market.
During the 53 years of life more than 820 Radioelectrologists have graduated, covering openings in telecommunications and electronics companies of public or private sector, as well as openings in research and educational institutes.
